Lauren is the CEO for Longshore Custom Homes and is committed to providing clients with exceptional service.

 

Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, Lauren received her Mechanical Engineering degree from Olivet Nazarene University in 2003, along with her Master of Arts in Education in years to come. Lauren was an All-American collegiate softball player and All-American Academic.

 

Backed by the experience of remodeling homes, Lauren has an extensive range of industry knowledge. She also has a background in designing commercial and residential developments.

 

Married in 2005, and with a growing family, Lauren moved to North Carolina in 2016 to put down roots in the area. She found her passion through using her NC GC license to build dream homes in towns on the coast of North Carolina.

Jeffe is our VPO at Longshore Custom Homes, where he brings his client's vision to life in their dream homes. Jeffe was born and raised on the New Hampshire coast and moved to North Carolina in the '90s. He primarily focused on running offshore fishing charters along the East Coast, US, and the British Virgin Islands.

In 1997 he began a career in law enforcement and spent 20 years as an investigator with local and federal agencies. In 2004, Jeffe obtained an NC Contractors License and started building homes.

As of 2017, Jeffe is semi-retired from law enforcement to solely focus on building custom homes. He strives to provide the highest caliber of service and build stunning homes in coastal North Carolina.

Meet Jordan, our Architectural Design Manager and Project Manager. Jordan oversees project operations in the field, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.

​

From crafting floor plans and exterior elevations to designing roofs, electrical plans, and intricate details, she ensures every aspect aligns with the client's dream.

​

A proud graduate of The University of North Carolina Wilmington, Jordan discovered her calling during her time at UNCW, where she was introduced to Jeffe and Lauren. Inspired by Lauren's mentorship, Jordan found her true passion in custom home design.

​

Outside the world of design, you'll find Jordan either soaking up the sun at the beach with friends or enjoying quality time with her family along the Intracoastal Waterway. With a dedication to her craft and a love for coastal living, Jordan is a driving force behind the transformative projects at Longshore.

David is a Project Manager at Longshore, managing project operations. He was first introduced to Longshore during the Design and Build of his personal home. Since then, he has developed an appreciation for their attention to detail, design innovation, and can-do approach.

 

Now, he looks forward to helping build on those attributes as a member of the team. 

Born and raised in Northern Virginia, David graduated from East Carolina University, and then spent 26 years in law enforcement, mostly with the federal government. In his work, he was able to travel the world and experience different cultures, which furthered his love of architecture. From simple angles to complex curves, he has always been fascinated by the process of bringing design ideas to life.

 

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and golden retriever, exploring small towns off the beaten path, and looking for great dog-friendly breweries.

Marisela is the Accounts Manager at Longshore. Overseeing and supporting all administrative duties in the office, Marisela ensures that Longshore’s behind-the-scenes processes are smooth sailing. Her role includes handling multiple functions each day, including accounting, project summaries, office policies, and internal procedures, to see that everything is in order. 

 

With seven previous years of experience in accounting, Marisela especially enjoys that area of her job, and is eager to learn more. She is currently a student at CFCC, and is in the process of earning her accounting certificate. 

 

Marisela was born and raised in California. A proud military wife, she and her husband moved with their children to North Carolina in 2020 when he received PCS orders. Even with her busy schedule, Marisela loves to devote lots of time to friends and family, and also enjoys preparing authentic homemade meals for loved ones.
